Sid The Science Kid Comes to Children’s Museum of Atlanta

If your kid is a fan of the PBS hit show, Sid the Science Kid, then you need to take a trip to Children’s Museum of Atlanta! Their latest traveling exhibit is ‘Sid the Science Kid: The Super-Duper Exhibit’! The TV series comes to life in a totally hands-on learning experience for young children. Familiar environments, from the show, become lifelike so your child feels like they are in Sid’s world. From his kitchen to his backyard, your kid will love the feeling of being immersed in their favorite TV show.

The Kitchen:

Kids can learn how to measure, set a table and even navigate spices in the kitchen area. They have fun sorting kitchen items as they play and learn.

The Backyard:

Kids can get hands-on in the backyard area, just like Sid does in the show. They can use pulleys and levers to transfer toys inside the treehouse. They’ll learn some basic principles of physics.

Sid’s Room:

Design your own “Super-Duper-Ooper-Schmooper Big Idea!” or put Sid’s toys away into the toy box using a lever.

Classroom:

Take a survey, explore the senses and simple machines, use real science tools and create journals to record observations. Kids will love pretending with each other in the classroom.
