The Academy Awards are quickly approaching and it’s one of my favorite nights to watch tv. There’s so much glitz and I love remembering all the movies we watched from the previous year. From the pre-show red carpet walking, with all of the beautiful gowns, to the never-ending speeches – it’s fun to watch. I like to throw a viewing party and gather all of my girlfriends for a fun night of champagne, laughter, food and games. These Oscar Bingo playing cards are the perfect addition to your party night. Just download the different boards, print out and pass around to your guests. It’ll give you something to do when they’re picking best foreign film, right?
If you want to re-use them year after year, you can glue them to a sturdy poster board, so they don’t bend or wrinkle. Each bingo card is evergreen, so it doesn’t matter what year you play!
Printable Oscar Bingo Cards
Materials Needed:
- Scissors
- Paper
- Printer With Color Ink
- Space Markers (Coins, Stickers, etc)
How to Play
Give your guests a different bingo card each. When something from the award show occurs that coordinates with a spot on their card, players may place a space marker on their card. The first person to get five spaces in a row – horizontally, vertically or diagonally – wins. Of course, everyone gets a free space marker in the middle of their board. Treat the winner to a bottle of champagne, movie passes or something a bit more glamorous to continue with the party’s theme.
