It’s no secret that our family loves Disney vacations – we’re always jumping in the car and heading to the most magical place on earth. We love to soak up all of the fun and spend our days together as a family. With how often we love going to Disney though, the price tag of the on-property resorts aren’t so magical. Our recent stay at the newly renovated Holiday Inn Express & Suites Lake Buena Vista proved that you can still enjoy a Disney vacation without breaking the bank.
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Lake Buena Vista: New and Close to the Magic
If you’re looking to reduce the price tag of your next Disney vacation, start with where you’ll stay. Checking into the Holiday Inn Express surpassed my expectations. The property, only 12 minutes via GPS from the Magic Kingdom, is centrally located to the areas most popular attractions. Ironically, we didn’t feel the need to leave because they offer so many on-site amenities.
Rooms Fit For Families
The recent multi-million dollar renovation offers a relaxing in-room experience for vacationing families. The modern design feels fresh and sleek. The resort offers 162 suites and each accommodation includes a mini refrigerator, microwave and Keurig coffee maker. Our deluxe King suite fit our family of four very comfortably. The pullout sofa, desk and mini-bar amenities were separate from our King bed. It was nice to have that slight divide without being divided by a wall – it feels open.
Resort Amenities For Everyone
Guests have access to three pools, waterslides, a poolside bar, splash pads, fitness center, sport courts, playground and mini golf course. In-room WIFI is also available free of charge. I couldn’t believe how much the resort offers. Our family loved the pool area and playground after a day in the parks.
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Lake Buena Vista also provides a concierge desk to help guests plan their vacation and complimentary transportation to nearby theme parks.
Each morning, the Express Start breakfast is complementary for guests. It has a full range of breakfast items, including a variety of healthy selections and hot and cold options.
Above Average Service
I felt so welcomed by the resort staff. You’re immediately taken care of upon arrival and treated well. They haven’t lost sight of service. It’s refreshing to see employees that love their workplace and enjoy taking care of guests.
Overall Impressions
If you’re looking for all of the options, with clean and comfortable rooms, and a great price tag – the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Lake Buena Vista should be on your radar. You can’t beat the amenities and it’s a budget-friendly hotel close to Disney World. Room rates start at $130 per night and can be booked online.
